no he's not...? a sweet sixteen is some american coming of age thing, john was making fun of steve for wanting his birthday celebrated at all (like "oh? you want me to wish you a happy birthday? give you presents and cake? what are you, a spoiled teenage girl?")

Thank you I’ve been inactive lately because of vacation and a big storm hitting my area (fortunately no damages on my property or family’s property) thus causing no power in my area for about five days. Not to mention I’m now trying to get used to everything being back on track.
